Klingenstierna and Linnaeus
It is said, in Th. M. Fries' Linné Lefnadsteckning, senare delen (Life of Linnaeus, latter part) (Stockholm 1903), that Klingenstierna and Linnaeus became very good friends in their old age. During one of Klingenstierna's visits to Linnaeus’ Hammarby, they both reportedly walked around wearing "only linen shirts and their trousers."
